Social Clubs using SMS Marketing

Addressing your potential customer personally with a mail, email or SMS is a good marketing strategy but the question that is asked is how to do it in a large scale. The answer is there now. It is bulk SMS. The technology is already there to address number of cell phones at one instance.

SMS mobile marketing is become the communication channel of choice for associations, clubs, and foundations everywhere with an option of directly contacting members on their mobile phones, and the immediacy of sending and receiving. The cost of text messages is much cheaper than newsletters, printed materials, and magazine or radio ads, with a high ROI. The SMS service is easy to use from any computer. When you are running a social club it is important to be able to easily keep in contact with members, especially at short notice. This is where you need a communication device that will instantly deliver important information to club members to prevent them from potentially missing out. Using a Bulk sms service you can send out SMS messages to as many members as you wish from any web-enabled computer enabling you to contact them just as soon as you decide on the information your customers need to know.

It would be especially useful for asking members to vote for their favorite theme for a social event or to prompt members to renew their membership via text message For example, if the club is to be closed at short notice, or you wish to remind members to bring specific items with them for an upcoming event, then an SMS message service comes in handy.

SMS mobile advertising – Increase your brand value

In today’s competitive environment businesses need to concentrate on creating new products and innovative services instead of worrying about the marketing aspect of it. This is where Bulk SMS comes into the picture. Bulk SMS in Nigeria is largely exploited for marketing tasks.
Bulk SMS is cheap, efficient, reliable and flexible. One of the highlights of bulk SMS process is the facility to filter out Do Not Call or Do Not Disturb subscribers.

Today, it is a proven fact that 90% of the text SMS’s are read by its recipients. About 70% of the subscribers respond to these messages via two-way SMS technology. Typically, this two-way facility is used for contest voting, travel & weather alerts and taxi/limousine service. Creatively drafted SMS campaign can make any product or service a hot proposal. The subsequent growth in terms of increase in sales is phenomenal; profits soar, brands become well known and customers form a strong bond with the company.

SMS Mobile Advertising is currently the most exciting platform to create instant buzz for new products or services. A simple text AD campaign can transform unknown brands into instant hits. It is one of the most promising interactive advertising models which is easy to operate and requires little technical knowledge. In the coming years, as this platform evolves and matures, new trends will replace the existing ones, but its future remains extremely bullish.
